Diligently seeking Him

Sunday morning service at Kempville Chapel was good! This was the first Sunday with our new projector and screen for morning Worship and there were only a couple of glitches. I am looking forward to using this screen and projector more in our Worship services so that we can have free hands to raise to give God praise! I was impressed to put a note from the Pastor in our bulletin this past Sunday morning and I would like to also share that note in this posting.
I beleive that God is going to reward those that diligently seek Him. The Word tells us in Hebrews 11: 6 "But without faith it is impossible to please Him for he that cometh to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." Do you have that faith in Him? Do you want to be rewarded for your faith and diligence in seeking Him? You see, prior to this scripture in Hebrews, it talks about Enoch's faith in God. He had faith in God to the point that God rewarded him for his walk with Him by "taking him". Enoch didn't see death! He pleased God to the point of God wanting to reward him! Every step that we make, we need to make it by the authority of God in us, and diligently seek His face for our lives!!

The life that I now live.

Galatians 2: 20 "I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." Christ liveth in me! That is a statement that speaks volumes. As I sit in my office and read this scripture, I'm reminded of how our lives are totally different when we give our life to Christ. He lives in us! That in itself is an awesome thing to have a living spirit within you that helps you get through each day. The scripture says that the life that I live in the flesh, I now (after giving all I have to Him) live it by the faith of the Son of God, Jesus Christ my Lord.
I'm thankful that God loved a sinner like me and that he caused me to want more of Him this 2009 year of our Lord. I have committed to give Him all of me this year and even though I am still walking around in this fleshly body, I walk in Him by faith, listening to the Spirit of the Holy One that gives me direction and hope.
